The Littoral Regional Delegate of Small and Medium Sized Enterprises, Balla Ngono Marie-Berthe, has launched the 2022 edition of trade fair, this October 2022 at Parcours Vita-Bonamoussadi to boost the social, economic and handicraft sector of Cameroon and the Wouri Division in particular.
The trade fair was organized in collaboration with the Association of Small and Medium Sized Enterprises, local organisations, companies, economic stakeholders and agricultural experts. This year’s edition focused on key thematic areas like policy of import substitution, quality norms, certification, health stakes, made in Cameroon, how to override imports by encouraging exports with hopes of hiking our Gross National Product (GDP).
According to Wouri Divisional Delegate of Small and Medium Size Enterprises, Mache Sylvie, who is also the President of the Trade Fair’s Campaign Organizing Committee, the Littoral Region is host to more than 100.000 Small and Medium Businesses (SME’s). “This platform is an avenue to help connect them find their way in project financing, to build network opportunities, target sponsors as well as have access to grants and business development in a bid to increase their turn over,” she said.
The Head of the Association of Promoters for Small and Medium Sized Enterprises, Moluh Manu, enjoined key actors like Associations, well-wishers and government stakes to support the illustrious vision and improve upon it so that Cameroon becomes an industralised and revered nation in line with the National Growth and Strategic Employment Paper.
The three-day workshop was garnised with quality working sessions such as digital communication, feminine entrepreneurship and animations. Elysee Deumany the Marketing and Communication Head affirmed that all is set to get the ball rolling.
