UB Gets New Registrar, DVCs, Others

Associate Professor Ernest Molua has been appointed Registrar of the University of Buea. The former Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine was appointed Tuesday, August 27, 2019, in a Presidential decree by President Paul Biya. He replaces Professor Ndip Roland Ndip, who is replacing Professor Ayonghe Samuel Ndonwi, as Dean of the Faculty of Science. Professor Ayonghe moves to the Central Administration as Vice Chancellor in charge of Internal Control and Evaluation.

Associate Professor Ndip Lucy, formerly Vice Chancellor in charge of Internal Control and Evaluation,  moves to the position of Deputy Vice Chancellor in charge of Research, Cooperation and Relations with the Business World in replacement of Professor Mrs. Tunde Njikam Martha, gone on retirement.

At the Faculty of Arts Professor Nkemngong John Nkengasong, formerly serving as Head of Department of English at the Faculty of Arts, Letters and Human Science of the

University of Yaounde 1 takes over as Dean from Professor Alembong Nol Tanyi, who has been appointed Deputy Vice Chancellor in charge of Teaching, Professionalising, and Development of Information and Communications Technologies.

Associate Professor Molua has been replaced by Professor Oben Pius Mbu as Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine. Professor Oben was formerly Head of Department of Animal Science at the same Faculty.

In other appointments at the University of Buea, Alobwede Esambe Charles, formerly serving as Technical Adviser n02 at the Ministry of Forestry and Wildlife takes over as Director of Students Affairs from NANA ENGO Serge Guy, called to other duties.

Professor Mou Elle Sone Albert, formerly serving as Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmaceutical Sciences of the University of Douala, also takes over as Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences in replacement of Mr. Ngowe Ngowe Marcelin, called to other duties.

 Director: Mr. YANG BAWEH Elmer, Senior Civil Administrator, formerly serving as Divisional Treasurer of Wum, in replacement of Mr. GIYOH YERIMA Peter, sent to his administration of origin.

Faculty of Education

Dean: Mr. Peter TITANJI FON, Professor, formerly serving as Vice-Dean in charge of Proçrarns and Academie Affairs at the Faculty of Education of the University of Buea, in replacement of Mr. AGBOR Michael NTUI, called to other duties.

 Faculty of Health Sciences

Dean: Madam SOME ASHUNTANTANG Gloria ENOW, Professor, formerly serving as Vice-Dean in charge of Teaching and Programming at the Faculty of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences of the University of Yaounde 1, in replacement of Mrs. MBANYA, née NGUMSHU Dora, called to other duties.

 Faculty of Law and Political Science

 Dean: Mr. NZALIE Joseph EBI, Associate Professor, formerly serving as Head of Division for Training and Orientation at the Higher Technical Teachers Training College of the University of Buea in Kumba, in replacement of Mr GALEGA SAMGENA DAIGA, called to other duties.

Higher Institute of Trade And Management

 Director: Mr. NJIMANTED Godfrey FORGHA, Professor, formerly serving as Deputy Director of Higher Institute of Transport and Logistics at the same University, in replacement of Mrs. FORJELEMACatherine, called to other duties.
