Two Emerging Agriculture Experts Join VoNat

Some two graduates from the Faculty of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine of the University of Buea, Teboh George and Mbemngong Faith Berinyu, have joined Voice of Nature (VoNat) as volunteers. They were recruited recently following separate interview sessions at the Organization’s Head Office in Buea.

Teboh George holds a BSc. in Agriculture with over 3 years of experience in the  production and marketing of organic vegetables and fruits. Prior to joining VoNat, he was an Agriculture Engineer Earth Guardians Cameroon. Mr. Teboh’s  interest in agriculture is to “maintain a safe environment through environmental conservation, climate change and food security for a better life”.

Mbemngong Faith, Volunteer at VoNat

Mbemngong Faith Berinyu is a postgraduate research fellow in Postharvest Technology at the University of Buea. She holds a BSc. in Agriculture (specialized in Crop Production), and has served as an intern/volunteer at Innovative Platform for Sustainable Agriculture (INPLASA), AGROVISC and the Cameroon Development Corporation (CDC).

The duo will leverage on their skills and experience to contribute to solving the societal problems and environmental challenges in their communities through VoNat’s Sustainable Agriculture & Community Development programme, which seeks to enhance food security and improve on the incomes and basic needs of  poor-resource farmers via research,  public awareness and experiential sessions on agricultural innovations, and income generating strategies.
